Fabric plays a very important role in determining the costs, printing technique of shirt and how well a shirt will be able to hold its shape even after several washing and wearing.The most common fabrics varieties for t shirts sold in the market are made from polyester, 100% cotton and cotton/polyester blends. In addition to the 3 common types of t-shirt fabrics, there are manufacturers who make fabrics from organically grown cotton and natural dyes; they do this for the purpose of saving the environment but it is more costly than common varieties.


There are 2 major varieties of cotton fabric: combed cotton and carded cotton. On touch, you can note that combed cotton fabrics are softer to touch than carded ones. Combed cotton are twisting smooth, even and thinner fibers together to produce a smooth thread. While carded cotton is produced through a mixture of short, thick and ragged cotton fibers. The coarse feel of carded cotton makes the fabric’s quality inferior than combed cotton.

Cotton / Polyester Blends

While 100% cotton fabrics are very common, many manufacturers blend the cotton with polyester to make it stain and stain resistant, breathable, and less prone to shrinkage. In general, more polyester content produces greater breathability, stain and wrinkle resistance. Blended tshirts also tend to be a bit cheaper than 100% cotton.
TC (Tetron Cotton)

Microfiber / Quick dry

A microfibre is synthetic fibre that is made of several different materials, including polyester, polyamide, and other fabrics in various combinations. Microfiber fabrics are highly versatile and popular for a wide variety of uses. this fabric has become a popular choice for performance apparel and sports wear. It is fast replacing cotton fabrics in production of these speciality clothings.
Dries quickly and can be washable.

Hi-Cool Performance Fabric

It is microfiber’s type of fabric with Superior moisture management system and UV PROTECTION (Protecting your skin and health), As microfiber wicks moisture away from the body, it keeps the wearer cool, dry and comfortable feeling. Spandex is a synthetic fabric with a polymer base, like nylon or polyester, it has unique properties that make it well suited to certain applications, such as sports apparel. The fabric is able to expand up to 600% and spring back without losing its integrity, although over time, the fibers may become exhausted. Unlike many other synthetic fabrics, spandex is a polyurethane, and it is this fact that is responsible for the fabric’s peculiarly elastic qualities.
